Not that you would consider driving to N Georgia, but I just had one of our mechanics (technicians if they work on a BMW
) install the Blue Ox baseplate on my '13 Wrangler Unlimited. VERY reasonable and with all the precision one would expect from this type of mechanic.
He had access to the shop lift that solved my worst problem of having to lay on the ground or carport floor when putting this thing in place. Looks like I may try the new Blue Ox air brake system but I am worried that the install and removal of the air cylinder each time I use the toad may be a pain. Helped a friend install his Brake Buddy back in the fall - 30 minutes ! Same thing when you use the toad with that however.
