I searched but could not find an answer to my question, so here it goes.

The M&G works off the sevice brakes of the MH and not the Exhaust Brake. My question is when you used the exhaust break only will the brake lights of the toad come on as they do with the MH?

Thanks
Ed

On my coach the answer is yes, as the service brake lights activate from the exhaust brake also. I'm pretty sure this is industry wide but I won't make a blanket statement. You can test it for yourself before installing the M&G just hook up the toad and take a ride around the neighborhood with some one following in another car. If they come on when you use the exhaust brake it will also work after you install the M&G. I've got the M&G system and love it, easy install. Hookup takes 30 seconds, literally.

Hello Ed:

On may Alpine the exhaust/Jake brake does not activate the stop lights. Other manufactures have designed the brake lights to come on when the exhaust or Jake brake is activated. You should have someone follow you to see if the brake lights come when the exhaust brake is in use. If not you may be able to have the coach wired so the stop lights activate when the exhaust brake is used.
