Anyone have an M&G air braking system installed on their toad? If so, what's the verdict?

We installed one on a 07 Jeep Liberty. Have Used it behind two different MH's. We like it very well. Works just as advertised. Would use it again.

I've been using it since 2001. Initially on 1999 Jeep Wrangler and now on a 2008 Wrangler Sahara. Works great, easy to hook up (about 2 minutes), have the break away system. Only downside initial cost and not typically transferrable to another toad, but ease of use and simplicity of install make it worthwhile. Had both of mine installed at Henderson Lineup in Grants Pass Oregon

I have one on my 2001 Cherokee. Simple install, simple hook-up, fool proof operation, 20,000 miles of use behind the MH.

I only wish it would fit the toad I just purchased (2011 Grand cherokee), but there isn't enough room between the master cylinder and the strut tower.

I highly recommend the M&G for all of the reasons listed above as well as customer service.

A local M&G dealer quoted about $1000 for the complete install. Does that sound right?

Also, did any of you get the breakaway system installed too?

I initially installed the system (plus breakaway) on my Saturn in 2003, then removed it and reinstalled on my Jeep Liberty in 2006. Had to return the air cylinder to M&G for a new cylinder specified for the Liberty, but all other components fit the Jeep.

Both installations I did myself - not a big problem at all, you can expect excellent product support and tech support from M&G.

I have the break-away system on mine. Not a hard install but not for the uneducated in air brake mechanics either. It works flawlessly when tested, thank goodness I haven't had a real need for it to work.

$1000 sounds reasonable. I have the break away system and hopefully will never have to use it...I would get it.

I'm at a campground in Charleston and after getting settled in a neighbor camper came by to compliment me on my Jeep Wrangler and then told me he just sold his Wrangler and has a complete M&G system that he'd sell me, including the breakaway. I did some research on it yesterday and appears to be a great setup. I ended up purchasing it from him. He also gave me a $200+ performance chip for my Jeep!!!! Looking forward to hooking it up.

The price sounds like a good deal. I think it is the best system out there. We like ours!
