I have had the M&G system on my Alero and on my '04 GC and I love it.

I also loved my GC until it lost an argument with a power pole. I am now considering buying an '05 GC, but looking under the hood it doesn't look like there is room for the M&G.

Has anyone done this installation?
Thanks.
Paul

Suggest you call M&G and ask if they have a unit that fits the 2005 GC. If your existing one doesn't fit, they may have a solution. I know several people towing GCs and using M&G, but not sure if any of them have a 2005.

We have done 9 2005 JGC's here at our shop. They are a full day of work with a hemi engine & a little easier with a 4.7L.

I talked to M&G and they told me there were two models for the 04 GC and the newer model would fit the 05. We verified that the model I have is the newer one, so I'm confident that it can be moved to an 05.
Mike, the M&G folks did say that it was a difficult installation, involving some sheet metal reforming plus some small parts, and that they preferred having an experienced shop do the work. There is one shop here in Indiana.

So, we'll see. I still have a Blue Ox base plate swap problem.
