Has anyone installed M&G brake on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, specifically for year 2003 (but any Jeep GC between 99-04 would work). If you have, can you please let me know if there was enough room behind the vacuum booster or something had to be relocated.
thanks
jim

I install an M&G on my Wrangler as well as my 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland. It fit quite easily. I did have to bend the existing brake lines a bit as I moved the master cylinder slightly forward but that was no big deal. For details on my Wrangler installation check out M & G Tow Brake Installation, which is similar.

I had the M&G installed on my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee by an installer. It was installed without any problems. They used two people while adjusting the brake pedal free-play. The largest difficulty was finding a place for the emergency stop reservoir. On my Cherokee they mounted it under the charcoal canister. I have been using it for three years now and it has been trouble free.

have a nice day - Darrel

I had thoughts of the clearance also, called customer service they said trust us it will fit. It dones wit the minor bending of lines. For the break away there is plenty of space on the wheel well by just moving a few things slightly.
