Matching TOADS To Your RV

I am looking for a new Wrangler TOAD to pull behind my Itasca Ellipse. Since this Toad would be mostly used for traveling with the RV, do you think I should buy one to match the RV? I love the bright green Wranglers, but that would look hideous paired with my RV. What do you all do?

There’s usually between 4-72 colors to choose from on the exterior paint. Pick one.

I have seen a few Motorhomes where they had the toad painted the exact same color of the coach. They looked really nice. They were also VERY expensive motorhomes.

I've pulled three different toads and none of them ever came close to the colors of my coach.

Maybe someday when I hit the Lotto I'll match up colors....till then too bad.

Get the hideous color, it will give people something to talk about.

And you could do what we do to distract them. We put a big stuffed monkey in the toad driver seat and a giant stuffed snowman in the passenger seat with their seatbelts on. Occasionally the snowman drives.

I got lucky in that my "Baby" Entegra Vision (basically a Jayco) is white with graphics. My toad is a white Ford C-Max. I may splurge and get some simple graphics to carry the theme over while still not making the toad too weird when it is not attached to the mothership. But there are few toads or trailers out there that are color matched and most folks would never take notice one way or the other. I love the stuffed animal pilot idea mentioned above and may very well adopt it myself!

When I started looking for a toad finding one that would match was fairly high on the list. Finding a Wrangler was at the top of the list. I got lucky and found a low mileage Rubicon that matches pretty good. Not an exact match but when the sun is just right the colors are pretty close.

That being said, I love the look of the bright green Wranglers. They look so cool driving down the road and sitting in a parking lot. My wife hates them so that color was ruled out early on but I just love the bright color.

Here is my old heap. ‘06 Winnebago pulling an ‘06 Rubicon LJ. We are very happy with both.

Who cares what color it is. Unless you want to impress people?
I have a new jk wrangler 4door sport. Love it. Great to tow.
I know the green you like. It is cool looking for sure.
Get the color you want. If it doesn't match....who cares. Your not buying it to make a statement. Get the color you like for the Jeep because youll be driving that and you should like the Jeep your driving.
When your towing.....you only see in rear monitor.

Pick a color you like. It’s not always attached to the coach. I like some of the wilder colors and wouldn’t let the color of the coach influence my decision. On the other hand, my wife would likely have a different opinion.

I'd go with the green. Like my friend used to say "A blind man would be glad to see it".

Our toad (‘98 Tracker) is bright red tinged with a good amount of rust and black holes. It’s the only one we got and works well, it is what it is!!! A newer one would be nice tho.

The brighter the color the less likely to get rear ended when they're looking at your RV going down the road from an on ramp.[emoji594] [emoji591]

My MH has a lot of silver on it and I lucked into buying a silver CR-V that is a very close match although a maroon or black would also have been OK. Even gold would match some of the smaller stripes that don't show from the distance. Unfortunatually my 30+ yr old yellow Diamondback bike doesn't match.
