Remco says that 2002 to 2011 standard 5 or 6 is flat towable. If auto then a dolly. May want to call them direct.

I'm towing a 2003 mini 5 speed and love it... Don't know it's back there and it's a head-turner... In addition, it only "sips" gas which is great as well....

I have read somewhere the Mini 4X4 is not towable but can't find where I read that. If/when I find it I'll post the source. Unless major changes the 2WS standard should be towable.

QUESTION: the tires I have on the Mini I recently purchased are Firestone P195/55R16H
Dot W2RF... Does the W2RF mean these are "Run Flat" tires???

I've been trying to get thru to Remco this AM without much luck. We are buying a 2012 Mini clubman S - 6 speed for a toad, and while I've read all sorts of people have had earlier years, when making a 32k investment, I want to be certain.

Have you had any luck?

Yes. Had em on my 04 S. If your MINI has no spare, you have run flats.

The MINI 4 wheel drive is an AWD so it's probably not towable 4 down.

The Mini is towable 4 down but you may have a problem with the warranty once you put a tow bar on car. We have the same problem thus we tow on a Demco ss dolly. Dealer cant tell that it is towed.

There are a couple of detailed threads recently added on Mini Cooper and using them as TOAD's. Look through the search feature, or just scroll back through the last week or so and you should find at least two with multiple page discussions.

Good Luck!
