Mini Cooper Clubman S?

Folks, pairing down my flat tow toad choices to Fiat and Mini Cooper Countryman S. Fiats very light but not much a car. Down side of Countryman S it weighs 3000 lbs. I have a 5000 lb tow capability. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. Sorry about the improper name of car in title.

Mini Cooper Clubman S?

I towed a 2009 Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Edition 6 speed manual, no lock steering, 2500 lbs. It has a Bluox baseplate and airforce one brake system. It tows great 4 wheels down and doesn't have lock stearing so you don't have to have the car turned on to accessory (drain battery without disconnect). Great toad. Actually I have mini for, sale check classifieds. No longer have RV.

Folks, thanks for the advise. I extracted my cranium from my rectum, scraped together some money, and purchased a used Mini Cooper Countryman. Doing a Blue Ox Tow Bar and Airforce One braking system. Safety first!! Thanks again.
