MKX 2011 Lincoln odometer.

I have a 2011 Lincoln MKX AWD. I have installed the proper mechanics to tow it behind our Newmar Mountain Aire. I want to find out if, while towing it, using air from the motorhome to work the brakes, if the odometer will keep turning?

Modern automobiles use electronic speedometers. The odometer will no record unless the switch is in the run position.
