Monaco towing capacity

Any body have an idea of the towing capacity of a 1990 37' Monaco grand royal signature series roadmaster chassic w/300hp cummins and Allison trans? Looking to possible purchase this coach and am trying to get some information. Thanks

Without taking a look at the hitch, there should be a sticker on the hitch someplace that states what the hitch capacity is. Without that you would be only guessing and I would guess 5000 lb's.

Looking more toward chassic capacity. I can always upgrade the hitch. MH is at a dealer he does not know muchabout it. I Need to tow 8000 truck and flatbed trailer.

What you could do is check inside one of the inside compartments.
It may have a sticker that states the info your looking for.
Just a thought.

Talked with a fella at Monaco today. He says coach is good to about 10k lbs towing. He did say check the hitch capacity as is may need to be upgraded for heavier towing then the average guy. I tried to contact Monaco last week via email and they couldn't tell me squat. However the guy I talked to on the phone today was totally helpful and welcomed me to call him back directly with any more questions or advice.
