I have a 32' Allegro and a Harley Road King I want to bring with me as I will be retiring soon.
Looking for advice on whether to tow or to buy a lift. The experts tell me my RV can handle the weight in the rear.
With a lift the bike is out in the weather but is towing an enclosed bike trailer with a class A a real pain.
Need advice.

I'm certainly no expert in the matter, but I'd be sure your motorhome can handle the weight of the Road King on the rear of the motorhome...is it a gas chassis? If the weight makes the rig tail heavy, you may have handling issues.

Do you also want to tow a car? If so, there are some nice tow dollies that accomodate up to two motorcycles (or a golf car) in addition to the towed car. Check here:

GFS, if you do not intend to haul a toad along with yer scoot, I would choose the inclosed trailer, look at it as a portable garage. Keep that RK nice and shiney. Also it's a good place to store it while on the road and in the CG, avoid those prying eyes. If ya need to also take a car along with you check out BLUE OX, they have a very nice Bike and Toad system. As a matter of fact I may buy one myself. Good Luck !

I've seen a couple of campgrounds that do not allow motorcycles. I don't know how they would react to one being pulled by a motorhome but, if it were in an enclosed trailer, they wouldn't necessarily have to know unless you wanted them to.
