I looked at a summary of 2003 Accord TSB 08012005 and that deals with Troubleshooting on a stalling engine, so that may not be the right number. More important, though, it pertains to a 2003 Accord and may not be applicable to a 2006, which is the issue being discussed here.

You are right to take the question direct to Honda, though. Why use a second hand source with such an important question?

I checked NHSTA again and number applies to 2005 - 2006 Hondas. The NHSTA number is 10018011. Regardless, my dealer found all the info on his system and gave me a print out. The number I listed in my previous post was the Canadian number but regardless it must apply to all Honda models listed and I would think much more reliable than other sources.

Hi All,

We purchased a 2006 CRV, 2 wheel drive. Before we bought, we confirmed in the owners manual that came with our vehicle, that it can be towed 4 down. There are guidelines to not exceed 65mph, stop and run the engine every 8 hours, etc.

Will be hard for Honda to dispute what they put in their own owners manual.
