Need Baseplate installer in Maine or NH

Thinking of buying a new car and will need someone to install baseplate, tow lights and tow brake system. Anyone have a recommendation in Maine or NH?

Maine or New Hampshire is a huge area. Where are you that these two states come into play?

Is there a Camping World near you? I'd check with any RV dealers also, if they don't install baseplates they may know where to go to get it done.

Just bought a new Chevy and rolled the baseplate and wiring into the purchase negotiations. Got the best price then, got a deal if you do the install. Showed them the instructions so they'd have an idea what they were signing up to. They have the body shop and the mechanics. No big deal for them.

I prefer someone who has prior experience in this type of installation.

Installation is pretty simple. I did my own on a previous vehicle but with the new one, you have to remove the whole front end plus relocate an air box. In my opinion, no one better qualified than the dealer but to each his own.

I would try a body shop. Particularly if body parts need to be removed as you want them reinstalled properly. I used a body shop for my Jeep Liberty and saved a bit of money in the process since their labor rate was only $70, not the $120 rv dealers want to charge.
