Thanks to those who replied. I did go and test drive a 2015 Cherokee Trailhawk.
I picked out a dandy that was loaded with every option and it was Tango Mango in color.
It would look sweet behind the coach!

But during the test drive I noticed good acceleration and quick response from the engine but when you take your foot off the gas pedal to slow down there would make several small jerks like downshifts each time when coming to stop lights or just slowing down in traffic.
The ride was just not as smooth as I expected. Is this normal for the nine speed tranny??

I tow a 2015 Jeep Lattitude and have had no issues. I use it for my run around car when we are home. The nav system works fine and with drive II we haven't had any problems with the transfer case. The parking brake works fine but you have to remember to release it.😀

The new trannies do use engine braking and if you think about it, it helps save your brake pads - works like our exhaust brakes !!!

but they can be softened ...

I know our Audi had the same issue when we first got it and between the break-in and audi updates, it worked well from then on...

love the jeeps :

If you really are sad and think nobody cares, just try missing a few payments ! '11 Monaco Diplomat 43DFT RR10R pushed by a Demco Excali-Bar II hitch which is pushed by a '14 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

Jeep shifting

Jeep has a new software dealer modification which might need to be done to the one you drove.
