Hi All: Has anyone checked out that new Ford called the FLEX? Caught our attention on T.V. ad, and was wondering if it might be suitable for a toad. Steve & Lynette

According to the 2009 Towed Vehicle list published in the latest FMCA mag, the Ford Flex FWD and AWD with AT is towable 4down and weighs between 4400-4600 lbs.

My thought is we may start seeing some of those, as they look like they would make a nice tow unit. If they are as quick and simple to hook and go as my Ford Ranger they may be a hit.

The slightly smaller Edge has the same tranny and is towable as well. Makes a good toad.
