Since it's been a few days without any specific advice, the Thread has been moved to the Toad and RV Related Towing Forum.

Can't tell you about flat towing...but, I know a dolly will work to tow it

Best luck

We tow our 2010 MINI JCW Clubman 4 down, no problems.
Spent at least 6 months before heading out trying to decide between 4 down, dolly, enclosed or open trailer. Finally decided on 4 down because of the ease of hooking up and unhooking. Glad we did, 5 minutes tops to connect and no worries about where to store the dolly or trailer.

4 down needs to a manual

I'm assuming you have a manual transmission. We have been told that we cannot tow my wife's 2008 Mini Cooper S 4 wheels down, as it's automatic.
