Does anyone have any experience with a Fiat Jolly or a VW Samba as a tow vehicle? We will be mostly in the south and Mexico and think these classic cars would be good.

Wow, a Jolly? That's one rare vehicle. I'm going to guess that even if it can be modified to tow that having base plates custom made for it may be cost prohibitive? Same with a classic VW bus ...it just may be too expensive to outfit it for towing as not only would you have to make sure the rear axle is disconnected and free wheeling but there is no base plate in production for such a vehicle. It might be expensive having base plates custom made, I'd imagine.
