New motor home which tow bar to tow 98 Ranger

I have purchased a 2016 Bounder MH and the tow receiver is higher than my previous MH, I have a 98 Ford Ranger with base plate and it is too low for my Reese tow bar, I want the tow bar that stays on MH so do I need to raise the connecting points on the Ranger base plate? Or is their a tow bar that will stay level? Also if Ranger base plate needs to be higher connecting points is there a vertical extension kit that will work,
thought a longer drop ball but they will hit the ground on every dip so trying not to have to do that,,

They (Roadmaster) make (I have one) a hi-lo hitch extension to solve this problem. In my case it drops the receiver hitch on the MH 6" to allow safe towing of my Chevy Sonic. Google "hi-lo hitch"

I have a Blue Ox Avanta LX and use a 6" drop to Blue Ox base plate. My 2008 Ranger base plate is about 16" off the ground. My tow bar can stay on the motor home when not towing.
