Thanks everyone for the sage words. We have opted for the "invisibrake" system. It will be installed before we take delivery of our coach later this week. Have a wonderful evening!

Out of curiosity, how much did they quote you to install the Invisbrake? If you don't mind me asking?

As others said, have your base plate install checked. What would you do in the event of a catastrophic failure of towbar, base plates, hitch or other component between motor home and toad? How will the new Explorer stop without supplemental brake system? We all want you and those around you safe.
