New rig Question

We have a new 32VS SouthWind and it has a Reese receiver mounted on it.
From the ground to the center of the receiver is 30"
The mounting point for the tow bar on our Jeep is roughly 20".
How much of a drop hitch would put the Road Master All Terrain tow bar
to an acceptable level?
I'm also wondering why all of our other rigs have been fairly level and this one is so high?
Thanks for any assistance.

I had an 03 Southwind same 32 vs as yours. Mine was same height. My dad and brother use to joke that I had put a lift kit on it cause it was so high. I had to use a 10" drop for my stow master to be close to level. I never had any problems with it. I just caution to use a strong drop receiver. 10" is a long way down.

Thanks for the reply Chad.
That is what I thought I would have to go with was at least a 10"
I don't know why this particular rig sits so high in the rear.
All the other ones I've had were all about the same.

Yes donie I always thought the same thing. One good thing, I never ever worried about the rear end dragging LOL. I think with the right drop you will be fine. I think roadmaster even makes a drop that would work for you. On mine I used a receiver that my dad had welded up for me. He is a master certified welder so it was a little overkill. I never worried about it breaking. Good luck and you're welcome, glad I could help.
