New shoes for Kar Kaddy SS?

I need some new tires for my KarKaddy SS and I'm thinking of going with Goodyear Marathon ST205/75R14. Even though it's made in China, at least it's a brand name.

Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Thanks!

Hi Z714X4,
I have the same dolly as you. The decision might depend on how you use the dolly and how long you intend to keep the dolly. For me, Michelin tires allow me to buy the tires and forget about replacing them for 10 years. Maintenance is the key to longevity.

My mistake on the previous post. I can not find Michelin 14" tires. Consider going to http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...rk=1&x=13&y=13 and there you will find choices.

Thanks Gary, I appreciate the advice.

I found some Tow Master (ST rated) tires at my local Costco and for $79 each I think I will just go with those.

Tow Masters are JUNK!!! I had them on a 36' Toyhauler and had three fail in less than a year. I will no longer run ST tires. I have gone to LT tires on all my trailers. One of the road service tecs that changed my tires recommended I do that. I did and never had any further tire troubles on the toy box . Did sell it though, went back to DP. I purchased Firestone LTs and had good service from them. They were also made in the USA! Good luck with your choice.

I'm about to buy a Kar Kaddy SS to tow a 2012 Ford Fusion built 9/2011. My owners manual 1st printing says it can be towed on all 4 down. There is abutton on the shifter to put it in N like a manual tranny.
Anybody doing this?
how do ya'll like your Kar Kaddy SS?

Thanks,
Walt

X2, Tow Masters used to be good when they were made in Canada. I bought four about two years ago. In less then a year the side walls split on two of them. Six months later one blew out on the road. Replaced all of them under warranty at American tires with Carlisle, just sold the trailer so don't know how long they will last. I always kept the pressure at max PSI.
