New Tires for My Toad....

Well, tires on our '06 Saturn Vue that follows the motorhome around are showing a bit of wear and I'm starting to shop.

Been running Bridgestone Duelers on it and been, for the most part, pretty happy with them as far as handling goes but they seem to be a little noisy on the road. Sometimes you can hear them enough to disrupt conversation inside. The current, and recommended tires are a 235/60R17.

Anybody have any suggestions on a good tire for my application that is super quiet. Of course, I want good handling, performance, durability, etc, etc, etc and wouldn't mind if they contributed a bit to better economy. And, of course, while the cost isn't the MOST important factor, I wouldn't be unhappy if they were priced at least competitively.

Thanks for any and all suggestons....

Capt Joe

I put Michelin Defenders (90,000 mile tread wear warranty) on the '05 Odyssey. The seem to be much better than the last Michelins I had on it. Costco had good prices and gave me a warranty adjustment due to excess wear on the last set of Michelins.
