The 4 cylinder versions have electric power steering and some people have had issues with "death wobble". GM issued a fix by pulling a different fuse but it didn't necessarily fix it. I think the problem is small not widespread. The v6 versions don't have this issue. I have a 2015 4 cylinder installing the tow equipment is not easy but pretty straight forward. I towed it the first time yesterday and had no problem. I also have a brake buddy II system that was very easy to install.

We towed a 2012 4 cyl for six years with no problems. Easy hook up and towed well. Never experienced the death wobble. We are setting up 2019 to tow but have not towed yet. We use road master base plate toe bar and ready brake.

Did you run a power line to the battery to keep it charged
Thinking on using battery cut off switch and only have power to the cigarette lighter for the IRV brake
Thanks

I tow a 2108 Equinox Premiere Diesel with no issues. Tows easy and tracks perfectly. I added a 12 volt battery charger from the coach just in case. Never had any dead battery issues but didn’t want to take the chance. Hope this helps.
