Well, we ended up with a 2010 Malibu LTZ. Ordering the AF1 and base plate next week.

The only base plate avaiable at the time was a Demco. Sounds like other manufacturers will be available shortly. Haven't decided on tow bar yet. Base plate arrived yesterday.

Is the 2010 Equinox AWD model towable 4 down? I am in the market and looking at the equinox or the malibu...

when i was looking at the owners manual, i believe the AWD is. I ended up getting the Malibu....

Both the front wheel drive and a.w.d. Equinox & Terrain are towable 4 down.
