Of course there are personal elements to the decision as well, but wondering if anyone has opinions on installing a driveline disconnect on my current vehicle, a 2005 Toyota Sequoia, versus purchasing a new(er) Jeep Unlimited? My thought was that rather spending a couple grand prepping a Sequoia which wouldn't be very popular to resell as a toad, maybe I should roll that money into a new Jeep, where the toad prep work might have resale value?

Am I on to something or just trying to justify the idea of a gnarly new Jeep?

If you have the new vehicle bug ,don't waste money setting up the 05 .It is expensive
and you will end up with the new one any way .

No.
Last time I went off-road there were 3 other Wranglers, having fun, staring at critters and the nifty scenery.

Naw! Just do it!
