I'm looking for advice on a new toad purchase. I've narrowed it down to the Honda CRV (piece of cake for towing) or the Toyota Highlander. Driving-wise, I prefer the Highlander for its better ride and feel around town and when it's not being brought on MH trips, BUT I'll have to install a Remco lube pump. I've already used a Remco pump on my '96 Grand Caravan for the last four years without any problems.
Also, since either car will be brand new, what's the best way to avoid damage to the front end from road debris? The Grand Caravan is old enough that we never worried about this sort of thing. We've already got a good flap behind the coach, but it's not enough to stop all the debris.
Any suggestions on either question would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Stuart
