Newb needing guidance!

Ladies and gents you have all been a wealth of knowledge; now I need a few more pointers before our maiden voyage. I leave Friday for the wild west on a 4000+ mile summer adventure. We have done the local stuff to get used to the Family Truckster but this will be the 3 week test. Kentucky to Salt Lake City, up to Yellowstone, then across to Mount Rushmore. Can't wait to try my luck wetting a fly line in those big western waters!

On you guys recommendations, we will be towing a 98 Jeep Wrangler with a Blue Ox towing system. I'm a little apprehensive as its new, but sure it won't be that bad. Do have a couple questions though...

1. Do you lock the steering wheel in the Jeep when towing it?
2. I keep reading people mention they have to leave a key in the ignition and have issues with battery drain, can someone explain this?
3. Would also love recommendations on these locations.

Looking forward to hearing from you pros, and yes I'm aware there is apparently a whole Jeep Toad Forum, I just can't locate it.

Tom
