Nissan Murano Toad?

Is anyone towing a Nissan Murano? We recently purchased our 03 Fleetwood Excursion and would like to tow the 04 Murano. I plan to buy a dolly since it's 2wd, but would like to hear from anyone who has experience with this vehicle.

Sorry but I checked the FMC Dingy Guide and it appears that there are no towable Nissans with the automatic transmission but all the manual tranny's are towable 4 down. Hope that helps. I'm now in the market for a new towable as well. I'm looking at the 2010 Chevy Equinox and the Ford Escape. It seems the selection is not on the lots like it used to be.

My wife has a Murano and from what I've read, heard and been told by Nissan dealers and mechanics you cannot tow this vehicle with the CVT transmission. If you break down it needs to be moved on a rollback. If you find out I'm wrong let me know.

The manual says it's ok to tow the 2wd model as long as the front wheels are off the ground. I'm still getting mixed messages though. Guess I'll have to contact the dealer.

According to the application charts on the Remco Towing site, the Murana 2WD model can be dolly towed (front wheels off the ground), while the 4WD drive model cannot and must be placed on a trailer. Both have a CVT transmission, so Remco mods like a tranny lube pump do not help.

Are there any manual tranny Muranos? I didn't think so, but never researched it to find out.
