Not to Dolly, but need information

Before reading thru the posts I was leaning towards a dolly to tow my 2006 2 WD Tahoe backwards, but the several posts I read have convinced me otherwise.

The option now is to flat tow but I understand need some kind of drive shaft disconnect installed before flat towing. Would appreciate any information/experience with the disconnect mechanism for a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Thanks.

Best option is more expensive. You should look into the transmission kit for pulling 4 down. The quick disconnect is okay for semi mechanical and ground laying folks.
