Does anyone have any suggestions for the install on my '14 Wrangler? Location on the front and where to run cable? Thanks

My friend and I installed one on his 04 Wrangler Unlimited. Wasn't too difficult. Had to drill a hole through the firewall for the cable....just had to find the right spot to keep from drilling through anything that could be damaged. Ran the brake cable and the emergency cable through the same hole. It wound up being almost directly in-line with the brake pedal arm.

We used a Blue-Ox base plate and once again had to drill two holes in the frame.

Bought the wiring harness for lights from Roadmaster (with diodes) and was a simple matter running the harness from front to rear. We did have a problem mounting the 6-pin connector and the emergency brake connector. My friend later had a metal mount made so that it would be a connection to a solid part on the front of the Jeep.

He's used it now for a couple of years and the only problem he's had is the wearing of the cable where in goes through a channel on the tow bar before connecting to the brake lever.

It's a good system and is cheaper than all the others. Highly recommend it.
