NSA Ready Brute Elite tow bar

Who uses a NSA Ready Brute Elite tow bar?
I am looking to change from dolly towing to 4 down towing. I am considering using to NSA Ready Brute Elite tow bar. I like the idea of the braking system is built in and would not need the bulky unit in the car or some of the other braking systems.
So who uses it and how do you like it?

Love it. Best decision I made with regards to choosing a tow package. Once you get the brake cable adjusted, it takes less than 5 minutes to hook up.

I had the Ready Brake with a Blue Ox tow bar for over a year and over 6000 miles. I liked it a lot. I liked it so much I decided to get a Ready Brute Elite. I will begin towing with the RBE at the end of the month.

I'm a big fan of the NSA tow bar and braking systems. Best bang for the buck on a gas powered coach.

I use the RBE to tow a Chevy spark. I have used various tow dollies and Tow bars over the years and I think the RBE is the best of all I have used. A quality and simple to use Tow Bar.

I have the RBE towbar on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKUS, behind a 40’ Tiffin 380HP DP. It works great. Quick hookup and disconnect. Have had NO problems. Self installed using a BlueOx baseplate as Jeep still has original front bumper.

We have a Ready Brute Elite and we tow a 2012 Subaru Impreza. Over 30,000 miles towing. This towbar system is simple, reliable, no electronics. With the Subie, all we do is unlock the steering column, put the shifter in neutral and release the parking brake. No pulling fuses, hooking up brake boxes, etc.
I installed the entire system myself, including the base plate for about $1500.
I did do a modification to the cable adjustment system however. NSA uses out of the box some lame wire clamp adjustment where you loosen the clamp and adjust the cable. Clunky and not well designed.
I swaged in a stainless steel turnbuckle which makes it much easier to adjust. I think NSA sells this as an accessory now.

We have ther RBE and are very satisfied. It is used to tow our Trailblazer. Also consider getting a TowMate wireless tow light bar. So easy. Approx $220 on Amazon.

We have been using the ReadyBrute Elite for 7 years without problems. If I were buying today I would go with the new ReadyBrute Hercules steel towbars. They are rated at 12,000 lbs and have the lifetime warranty!

We have used the RBE on two units: first was a 2019 Spinter towing a '08 Jeep JKS and now use a 2019 Tiffin to tow. Simple system, works great, no bells, whistle or BS about it - just a straightforward tower / braking system that works and is easy to hookup. My wife and I installed the brake system on or Jeep for the hookup to the towner along with the emergency breakaway system. If you want simple and effective without spending a ton of money - this is the way to go. We are really pleased with out setup.

We've got that exact light on our Mini Roadster. It works flawlessly and we're driving down the road in 5 minutes after the first pin is attached.

I'm happy with my RBE on a 2015 Focus. Any problems I have had have been self-inflicted.

I just installed the RBE on a JL Wrangler. Turnbuckle came with kit.

I’m on my second ready brute elite towbar. .my first I used for about 5 years and got broke in an accident hitch on motor home broke and that broke the turning point on tow bar. Bought another new one and have about 2,000 miles on it so far.
