Odd Invisabrake Problem

I have searched google and this forum and have not found a similar situation. We are setting up to tow a 2002 Honda Accord and have ran into an odd problem. First, when setting up to tow, the Invisabrake line was very slightly tugging on my brake pedal. I called a tech and he had me shut off the accord and press the brake pedal and low and behold it was working. He mentioned that Honda's vacuums are very powerful and cause some odd problems from time to time.

Excited to get our trip underway we began to drive with our Accord in tow and I pressed the brake pedal and the LED light did not come on. This light alerts the driver that the brake pedal in the car is being pressed. It is as though the system is completely dead. However, if I pull the brake away pin the system engages? If I try to replicate what the tech had me do it still will not work. The Invisabrake itself is at 30 PSI at the moment.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Edit-All connections are firm. All brake lights come on both the tow car and RV. LED lights up when I go back to the car and press on the brake.

I have a different system, but when my dash LED fails to light (with everything else working) it's because I don't have the coach's parking lights on. The electronics require that signal.

One other reason- According to the manufacturer, my braking system generally will not engage until the road speed is above 25 MPH or so (no connection to the speedometer, so it likely has to do with the lowest sensitivity setting for the inertia sensor). The dash LED therefore only lights when applying the brakes at or above that speed.

I know, different components- may not help you. Might, though.

I have the Invisabrake on my 98 Honda Accord and had the light come on a few times on it's own. After reading all the problems with it, I changed my mined to install it on 2011 Ford Edge and went with the Air Force One and had it installed. Little more work but a better system.
