Can you tow a 2007 two wheel drive Wrangler with all four wheels down? Motorhome's Dingy Guide does not specify 4-WD as it does for other models.

Assuming you're looking at one, and don't own yet...owners manual is available here:
http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/index.html, 8mb download, page 332 talks about recreational towing. No mention of 2wd vs 4wd but the instructions say:"NOTE: The transfer case must be shifted into N (Neutral)for recreational towing." Kind of implies 4wd, but check for yourself, I could of missed something.

Thanks Brian. your assumption is correct, i'm looking for one. I assumed the same but found it curious that the Dingy Guide didn't specify for Wrangler but did for Cherokee.

Thanks for the link...research continues.

Jim,

To my knowledge you must remove the drive shaft on the 2WD models. That is why everyone uses the 4WD models as toads.

Good luck!

John
