Opinions please

I found this Jeep liberty close to home. Pricy for the year but mileage is reasonable. I know there is a differance between Canadian and US prices.
But please let the comments fly.
You people are the experts and I need advice.

Motorhome mounted tow bar is much preferred over the toad attached tow bar.

Does it have a braking system? If not, you will need to add one.

The tow bar setup is worth $1K if you had to purchase and have it installed

134,000 km = 83k miles --- but that's driven miles, add towed miles
How many miles on the rv that towed it ?

That's about $6k US - is that reasonable for a 10 year old car that's been through winters there?

Only thing you can do is test drive it... good luck!

Looks like a good deal. As them why they want to sell it. Obviously they want the money more than the want the Jeep, but did they get a new toad, sell their rv, hated this car since the day they bought it? Look for signs of repair; there should be door dings unless they rolled it and it just came outof the shop, front fender and bumper supports wrapped with parts stickers, tires that don't match. I hate clean oil, it might be evidence of the only oil change this car ever had, ask him how often he changed the oil. What are the radio presets set to?? RAP?? Walk away, the kids have been driving this. Rush Limbaugh, grab it! Ask him if it is on a salvage title. Remember his answers could be a lie, but if he says the title is clean, then he is liable for that fact.

Why is the motor home mounted hitch better in your opinion?
Having bought this Jeep. I have had people say they wish they had a toad mounted hitch.
I myself haven't used it yet so I'm not sure. The hitch is very easy to remove.
Your comments would be appreciated as towing a toad is completely new to me.

Toad or MH mounting is only a matter of appearance. But they both look the same when you take the hitch off the toad, which I don't.
My Roadmaster Stowmaster is 15 years old and good as new, while doubling as the baddest front bumper known to man, and an extremely heavy duty tow bar. Did I mention they cost less?
