Ordering Tow Bars etc on Internet

Have been comparison shopping for Blue Ox tow bars, base plates and related equipment for our new Wrangler. Local RV store is way out of line with pricing. Anyone have good/bad experiences with ordering from Hitchsource.com?

Thanks

I ordered my toad stuff for my Cherokee from Hitchsource (NSA ready brute elite tow bar and breakaway kit, blue ox baseplate, roadmaster light kit and relay). The NSA stuff was dropped shipped directly from NSA and I got it two days after ordering. The light stuff came in 3 days. After 4 days and not receiving the baseplate, I called Hitchsource and they said an error had been made and the baseplate had been shipped to the wrong address but that they had already shipped me a replacement. Must have been true as I got the baseplate the next day. All in all I was pleased with their service and pricing despite the baseplate error which they quickly corrected. All items were well packed and arrived in good condition. The customer service agent was very pleasant and helpful.

I generally use Etrailer.com they have the same price as Hitchsource and have Utube on the installation of brackets on a lot of makes of toads with free shipping on the brackets, also Utube on tow light installations.

I have ordered often from etrailer and everything has been fine. I would have no problem trying Hitchsource if something was not available from etrailer.

I like to support local but they are actually 45 minutes each way.

Bought all my BlueOx items from Hitchsource. Friendly, good product knowledge, and efficient service along with competitive pricing. The product ships direct from BlueOx.

I ordered everything from RVUpgrades.com. They had the best price on the Aventa LX, and their price on the Rvibrake 2 was the same as ordering directly from the folks that manufacture the Rvibrake.

I have used eTrailer twice for the baseplates, wiring, brake light relay kit, and what not for 2 toweds. If you buy from them, and after you order, find it cheaper (Or as I did, found it onsale for cheaper), send them an email with a link to a cheaper price they will refund you the difference, no questions asked.

Actually went into the local RV dealer that will be delivering our Newmar in the next couple of weeks. Asked them if they'd match the prices of any online retailer but was told that they'd only give a 10% discount, but I could buy the parts elsewhere and they'd install them. Almost a $1000 difference in prices. Think I'll find another installer as they quoted me a flat 8 hours at $125 per hour.
