Left out this morning for Virginia. Five miles or so after leaving home I kept feeling a bump as I would slow down. Watching closely on the camera monitor, it appeared the tow was moving more than it normally does. Got to where I could pull over to check it and found the problem.
I usually use a bungy cord to bundle wires and safety chains below the towbar to keep them from dragging. I had inadvertantly run the bungy over one of the handles on the BlueOx arms and keeping it from locking. One was lock out and the other would slide forward, causing it to move in curves and on braking. Will NOT make that mistake again.

All's well that ends well I guess Doc. Thanks for sharing... and for the tip on the bungee. I think I'll give it a try.

When I read the towed was moving more than normal I though OH NO...

Glad it was minor.. and that's about as "minor" as it can get $0.00 to fix is a real good deal!

Thanks for sharing.............a good thing to remember to check. We do the same with a bungee cord to keep things from dragging. Will know to double check!
