Power to stay n play duo with battery disconnected

My dealer installed the stay in play duo braking system on my 2016 Ford Focus. No battery disconnect, he says he has installed plenty no problem

I have a problem, I need to disconnect the black battery cable, SMI (stay and play) say you have to disconnect positive, the brake system needs the ground to work.

I saw another thread on this issue, but it was all over the place. I think I need a switch to disconnect the battery, but which one that will still allow power to the braking system.

I am becoming so frustrated and upset, I have a new motor home and I can't go anywhere without my car.

Please help, Ford can't help, SMI wasn't real helpful, dealer doesn't understand the transmission issue.
