Stone guard under $40.00

Not my idea, but I saw one, liked it, and built one for myself. I used 3/4 shedule 40 pvc, and 1/4 in. Wire screen.

We owned a 2010 JKU Rubicon that I built up for off-roading and wanted to avoid the AZ pinstriping from brush. I had the 3M film installed on the doors, and sides of the hood. It worked great. We only kept it about 18 months because it was so uncomfortable for anything more than 50 miles, but the 3m film took all of the scratches and the body remained like new. It could help for stones on the front, but we stopped the stone chips when we took the big mud flap off.

We have a 38 foot Canyon Star and tow a new 75th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler. We just got back from a 2300 mile trip to Creede, Colorado and back to Arkansas without a scratch or ding on the Jeep using no protection other than the rear tire mudflaps on the motor home.
