Protecting Toad from Motorhome Wheel Kick-up Debris

Need suggestions for best options to equip front of toad with protective cover to prevent dents and scratches from debris kicked up by rear wheels of Motorhome.
What have you had proven success with that is not a major hassle to install/remove? Anyone use molded vinyl bra-type cover on toad front?
This is my first equipment buy/set-up for a dinghy towed vehicle. My RV is 2015 Entegra Aspire. My Dinghy is a 2016 GMC Canyon. My Tow bar is a Blue Ox Avail. Thanks, Ken

Protect-a-tow
Then remove the full-width mud flap which can cause stones to bounce and hit the towed.

Try Coastline RV and Off Road - RV Products. Have used their bra's on 2 Class A's and 2 toads and would buy another in a heartbeat. We've been to Alaska 6 times and the southwest deserts about 10 times with a lot of dirt and gravel roads. Install time is about 5 minutes if you're really slow. And it does NOT damage paint if you clean it periodically.

Protect a Tow. I also use Road Wrap. Some have said Road Wrap will pull paint off, I have been using it for 18 months with no problems. Road Wrap may be overkill but I have no dings on the front of my Colorado.

I use the Protect-A-Tow with a UltraGuard solid rubber flap across the back of the MH positioned 6" above the road. Never had a single chip on the front of the toad!

We have done over 150,000 miles with no extra protection on our toads. They get VERY DIRTY but we never had any damage.

We had one of theirs that we bought specifically for our Alaska trip. Glad we did

That's what we do, but not that much mileage, maybe only 40,000+.

I'd venture to say that you haven't been to Alaska . The Top of The World Highway in particular.
That's where my photo ( posted above )was from .

IMO, about the only thing that's going to really work is the Protect-A-Tow. I contemplated buying one before our Alaska trip last year but was too cheap to spend the $$$.
Upon return, the $219 for the protect a tow would've been a lot cheaper than the $700+ I had to spend to repair the front end of my Malibu from all the rock chips.
If you never drive anywhere but nice smooth interstates, you probably won't ever do any damage to your tow vehicle. But if you go someplace like Alaska or hit 30 miles of freshly tarred and graveled highway, you'll be needing some protection.

I use a Blue Ox BX88255 Karguard II Defelector. It's a flat mesh device that covers the space between the motorhome and the toad, preventing any debris being kicked up.

It's very painless and easy to initially setup. Very easy to use and store when not being used, (it rolls up).

When you arrive at your location, you just disconnect two clevis pins and roll it up before removing your towbar. Easy-peasy.

Protect a Tow. The Blue Ox Karguard looks like it is similar, but more expensive.

Protect A Tow.

Then make sure there are good mudflaps right behind each rear wheel.

Then take the big rear mudflap off or cut it so it's at least 6" above the ground.

Brings back fond memories. Top of the World highway is either VERY dusty, as in clean off the brake lights every 25 miles, or VERY muddy, depending on weather, but some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. The view of the 40 Mile Country from that particular site is breathtaking. We ran the route in the fall and every hill and mountain was a different color as the tundra prepared for winter. Pictures just don't do it justice, it has to be seen to really appreciate it.
