If your weight exceeds 22k lbs, then that is an entirely different problem.

I think you may find that the 4277 quoted for the Jeep's weight a bit optimistic. The hard top, for example, adds weight. Anything you put and leave in the Jeep adds weight. I always figure about 4,500 lbs for ours.

Many truck stops will have a scale. Here's a link that may help you locate one.
