We're towing an 02 Buick Rendezvous with Remco lube pump, 4 down. Remco pump is powered by wiring from the coach. Over time Remco told us of many fuses to pull, however the Rendevous battery ran down no matter what. We installed a battery blade switch and the the battery now retains it's charge, however; a full cover over hood/windshield and elimination of all power on the toad prohibit us from opening the rear hatch, etc, etc. Anyone successfully pulling fuses to overcome the above Rendezvous situation please tell me what fuses you're pulling.

Jack;
I have the same problem on my LaSabre. I put an ampmeter in series with the battery and cabel, I started pulling fuses but could not locate any one or two that would stop the current drain. Th Buick dealer told me that the computer sometimes backfeeds when fuses are pulled. I installed blade switch like you did. My battery is located under the back seat and it is a pain to get at all the time.

So I installed a battery charge circuit from the M/H to the toad and I no longer have to worry about cutting off the battery and the car is always ready to roll.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.

Don

Thanks, Don. You made a good move in wiring from the coach. Just got our Journey 36G last month and route of least resistance is to do as you have already done.
