Push button start Lincoln MKS towing

Is anyone out there flat towing either the MKS or MKX with the push button start. Not sure what the procedure is since the owners manual says to turn the key to the accessory position...

Would like to set up the wifes 09 MKS to be towed from time to time. Will probably sell the 08 Sport Track limited that we have been towing...

I am not towing one, but I do have a Lexus with a push button start. The "accessory" position is achieved by pushing the start without having my foot on the brake pedal. Check your manual to be sure, though.

There are a number of Lincolns that can not be towed unless you flip a switch hidden, As I recall, in the trunk.. Be aware of that, has to do with suspension and damage will occure.

Flip the switch and there is no problem.

I don't know about the '09 MKS, but num1dgh is correct about the push-button start and accessory position.
