Can anyone one tell me if Ranger 4x4 with auto trans. can be towed in any years prior to 2007 when they were first listed in MH dinghy towing guide. Thanks

The 06 Ranger 4x4 can be towed if the Ford Neutral Towing kit is added. Before that I think the answer is no for all Ranger automatics. The Ford Towing Guide mentioned in the previous post will give you the details - see the topic on "Four-Wheel-Down Towing" for each model year.

It may be possible to modify a Ranger for towing with a drive line disconnect or transmission lube pump. Contact Remco Towing to find out if they have something available.

Thank you Dirk and Gary Moderators are always so very helpful. That gives me the info I needed. I will begin my search for a 2006 or newer so as to be able to haul my motorcycle along with me at times. Just cant fit it in the CRV. Thanks much
