Ready Brake
Just wanted everyone to know about a good experience with Ready Brake. My 10 year old unit started malfunctioning so I emailed NSA, the manufacturer. The company president responded and told me to send it to them. He said they would fix it and return it no charge. All I had to pay was the shipping to Kansas. I sent it in and they did what they promised.
In this age of crummy Customer Service, this is really refreshing. Please keep NSA RV products in mind if you're looking for toad stuff.

What were the symptoms when your Readybrake was malfunctioning? I just want to be aware, my unit is 5 years old & so far I've had no problems.

When I applied the MH brakes, the toad brakes would rapidly apply and release making one heck of a commotion.
Turns out there is a shock absorber inside the Ready Brake to damp oscillations and stop this from happening. Apparently mine died of old age, allowing the system to go unstable. It was working perfectly last fall. When I hooked it up the first time this year, the trouble started.

I have had the same results with Blue ox on my steering stablizer and on my tow bars.. EVEN though with the tow bars I told them what happened. How it happened, and that it was very clearly NOT their fault they Fed'exed me new bars and a postage paid return label.. NO CHARGE.. Offered to fix secondary damage if they determined it was their fault (it very clearly was not) I mean they were great.

Last winter, after ~45,000 miles and four years of use I returned mine to the factory to have it "tuned up". All I paid for was freight and it came back as good as new. Wish all companies stood behind their products this well.

I bought a rebuilt Brake Buddy classic about 6 years ago and it broke on my last trip. Called the factory and they said they would repair it or I could upgrade to the Vantage select, so I upgraded. The upgrade was a really great deal. It appears they want to keep their customers.
