Ready Brute Elite towbar

We have a 2007 Chevy Colorado 4WD that we are going to start towing.. say good by to the dolly... My question is for someone that has this truck between years 04 and 10 that has the same front end as the 07.. Where did you bring the cable out the front from the brake pedal? Missouri has a front license plate so it would make it difficult to bring the cable out centered.

I have seen people use flip down license plate holders.
Flip it up when towing ...flip down when not and it protects the stuff in back.

Can you drill a hole in the license plate?

ready brute elite

I thought about drilling the license plate.. would be drilling thru a chrome bumper as well.

Not sure if there is a flip up plate holder specific for my truck but I will look around..
Was hoping someone had a picture to share with their hookup on a older colorado.
