Ready to roll

just finished installing a blue ox baseplate on a 2006 hummer h3 as well as running wires and hooking up the H3's tail lights to the motorhome. It wasnt as easy as i thought it would be lol. But got it done
I found a ton of useful info on here while trying to figure out how to do it all, including which base plate to purchase.

I just did that job on an 08 H3 for a Readybrute Elite set up. So I feel your pain! The base plate was the easiest part of the whole job. Wiring the tail lights and in dash brake monitor in the motorhome were the two worst jobs. I hate running wires through 40 feet of greasy rusty undercarriage while laying on my back looking up and holding a flashlight...

In finishing the install, I found the height difference from the hitch holes to the base plate holes are 6". I have 35" tires on mine. Just ordered a 6" hitch riser to level it out today. Almost there...
