I'm looking at buying a brake system that has minimal impact on my Toad. Both of these systems meet my requirements, Yes their is a difference in price but not that much.

Readybrake $336.00
Break away $100.00
Drop reciever $150.00
Total $586.00

Breakmaster $800.00 (on E-Bay)
Seat adapter $55.00
Total $855.00

So their is a $269.00 dollar difference Which would you buy

I'm very happy with ReadyBrake. Have 10's of thousands of miles on ours with no issues. We also use the readybrute tow bar.

I have the Brakemaster and am quite happy with it. Didn't pay anywhere near $800 and didn't need a seat adapter either.

Try these sources for Brakemaster at a better price:

Brakemaster - RVWholesalers.com RV Parts

Brakemaster proportionate towed car braking system - for air or air over hydraul - By Roadmaster

By the way, the Breakaway device is optional with the Brakemaster - your call.

Brakemaster - Have over 8000 miles towing this last year and I love this system. Easy and quick both to put on and take off.
