We use it all the time in our toad. Never had an issue with the rear camera. I expect the angle of the shield would not reflect any significant glare or reflection to any following or approaching drivers. Maybe given the angle, it could cause a brief flash for a low flying airplane, but I've never seen a news report of a plane crash caused by glare from a 55 mph windshield reflector towed behind a motorhome. :-)
