The 74th annual Sturgis motorcycle rally beginners 2 august. Best make your reservations now if that is the week you will be there. Hmmmm.....maybe rent a few bikes? Good luck!

Personally, I get a "warm fuzzy feeling" from having my toad with me wherever we go.
Some feel good about carrying a "spare tire", (and/or "spare parts")....I like a SPARE VEHICLE.

Given the proximity I would suggest a visit to Crazy Horse as well during your visit. We like going every few years to see how it is progressing. It is a huge undertaking and will not likely be done in my lifetime.

If you are touring a drive on Iron Mountain and Needles roads are very interesting.
