I have a Roadmaster Brake Pro that has a slight air leak at the shaft that comes out the apply cylinder where the pedal clamp attaches. The compressor will come on every 4 minutes. The specs are that the system should hold air without the compressor coming on for at least 10 minutes. I have thoroughly checked the entire rest of the system with soap bubbles and am sure there no other leaks. My question is: Is there some type of oil that I can add down the shaft to stop the leak? The cylinder is non-servicable. Other wise the Brake Pro works correctly. Or where can I buy a new cylinder?

I suggest that you call Roadmaster at 800 669 9690. Talk to Benny, he's very helpful.

Thanks. Benny says they have not made this model for several years. I am now looking for a used one. Wish me good luck. Fortunately, I don't need it right away.

We also have a Brake Pro. I know they haven't made that model for several years, but doesn't Roadmaster still have parts? I got a new transmitter that goes in the toad for ours about a year ago, so I'm surprised Roadmaster can't provide you with a new air cylinder. It's probably a standard air cylinder and should be easy to find if Roadmaster doesn't have one. All you need to know is stroke, diameter and whether it's single acting or double acting. Then Google air cylinders. Bimba is a good brand.
